This Arts and Crafts/Bungalow style house in Petone had been much altered over the years. Original features such as the entrance and porch had been lost, and the kitchen and living space was a 1970s horror.
Wright & Gray Architects Ltd planned and fully detailed the new kitchen-dining-living space, listening carefully to the owners in all aspects. We believe firmly that contemporary interior design can sit happily in traditional settings.
“When we bought the house it lacked street appeal. We wanted to give it an entrance that looked welcoming, and we were delighted with the design John and his team came up with, which not only gave us a new entrance, but tied the whole front of the building into a coherent design."
"We are really pleased with the finished product.”
