These three new apartments proposed are situated close to the city and designed to make the most of the excellent views out over the harbour.
Making the most of this steep and demanding location required careful control of the cuts to the site, the height of the building, and intensive coordination of structural elements. One of the more difficult tasks was to provide useful private exterior spaces for the three units.
Value, cost control, maintenance requirements, and return on investment were important aspects that were considered throughout the design process.
Resource Consent required consultation with Wellington City Council and analysis of the effects of the proposal including sun shading of the adjoining properties.
