Wright & Gray Architects Ltd, along with structural engineers Silvester Clark, have won the premier award in the New Zealand Society of Earthquake Engineers 2015 Earthquake Strengthening Awards.
Our 'Life Centre' project at 21 Hania Street, Wellington received the awards for Best Adaptive Reuse, and Overall Winner. Our winning entry was displayed at the NZSEE Conference in April 2015. Click here to see our entry presentation panel.
We want to acknowledge our client, The Street City Church, who have rescued this important Wellington heritage building and given it a secure future.
The awards were judged by a multidisciplinary panel, and were assessed according to both engineering and architectural standards.
